Andrew Armstrong, will take up the role of strategic director here at Brook.
With an impressive background in advanced manufacturing and programme management, Andrew will lead on the strategic development of Brook’s programme management landscape.
Andrew will help to secure and implement high value contracts both inside and out of the South Yorkshire region. He also supports as a development consultant to Brook’s manufacturing clients on the Made Smarter programme, supporting with Industry4.0 adoption.
Andrew has most recently worked in business support with the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, developing, commissioning and programme leading major projects such as Made Smarter Yorkshire and Humber.
Prior to that Andrew worked in a variety of diverse high vale manufacturing programme roles including 7 years of experience of aerospace programmes at BAE Systems, 3 years at the Nuclear AMRC and 5 years within product R&D at Sandvik Coromant.
During his career he has developed a keen interest in both developing people and processes through continuous improvement and lean learning.
Andrew is also a Fellow of the Association for Project Management and a Senior Coaching Practitioner.
