“It’s been an interesting three months at Brook Corporate Developments since my last update.
We continue to be busy with the MadeSmarter programme and are currently recruiting businesses for the Leadership and Management workshops. Keep an eye on the Website for dates. This is a great introduction to bringing digitisation into your business.
The Barnsley Net Zero programme is also in it’s early stages with businesses signing up to the first cohort. Brook are working on this project to help local businesses take the initial steps in reducing their carbon footprint and create a greener business environment for the benefit of all.
We are pleased to be a key delivery partner in this great project especially after our involvement with the pilot project last year. Climate change is a real thing and we are proud to be able to help businesses who otherwise may not know how to go about making the changes.
We have had a number of staff taking holidays with destinations as diverse as Prague, Spain, Lake District and the North East of England. Re-charging our batteries to enable us to continue delivering first class business support across the North of England.
On the subject of helping, the core Brook team and a few of our consultants have set aside the day on Friday 22nd September to undertake a sponsored row, walk, run and cycle to help raise funds for BIADS (Barnsley Independent Alzheimer’s And Dementia Support).
